Same domain. New home.

Hello World! Same domain, new home. Looking forward to the next 2 years on this host. Second time around designing my website, and decided to make it more accessible. But also, do we like aesthetically pleasing sites? Yes!! While I enjoy designing offline, I figured this millenial should also learn how to do it online.
Rather than monthly updates, another change I will be making is to "blog". In quotations, because the last time I did was when Xanga was still a thing. IYKYK. With the algorithm on social media platforms constantly changing, I decided to use my website as a platform to share topics of interest to me. For one, social media platforms discourage lengthy posts on explorative topics. Secondly, I want autonomy over topics discussed. I believe the moment creativity plays into algorithms (online and offline), it loses its essence. Authenticity is the evolution to every industry. Lastly, social media encourages individuals to create content for the sake of validation. As an artist, everything about the process goes against my values. Every piece of work I create lives out its livespan from start to finish. Everything created is intentional, and valued highly in my eyes.
I promise to keep these blogs short and sweet, with the exception of certain topics that might be a little lengthier. Regardless of whether my blogs drive traffic, its purpose is to create a sense of community for those seeking similar and/or differing perspectives. But also, as an introverted-extrovert, my preferred method of communication is through writing.
Thank you for joining me on this journey! Can't wait to share this space with you all.
